Walnut and rosemary scones
Here is a delicious recipe for Walnut and Rosemary Scones. It is very nice with soup or as a lunchtime snack. 350g wholewheat flour 4 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 75g walnuts, finely chopped 2 tbsp chopped rosemary 50ml sunflower oil 1 large egg, beaten 200ml milk or soya milk Preheat the oven at 220°C Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the chopped walnuts and rosemary. Combine the oil, egg and milk. Add to the dry ingredients and mix to a soft dough. Pat out to a thickness of 1.5 cm and cut into 5cm rounds. Bake for 10 minutes and serve warm. Enjoy!
