Young sprouts all year round
Are you interested in healthy living? Do you enjoy fresh vegetables? Why not sprout your own seeds? Here is a very easy way to achieve this. You need to buy a sprouter from you local health shop; it's a good investment, don't hesitate. In addition you need to buy seeds. There is a wide variety of seeds: alfalfa, lentil, carrot, sunflower, mungbeans, cabbage, leek, fenugreek... Leave the seeds to soak in water for one night. The sprouter has different trays, where you can spread the seeds. Pour a large glass of water into the top tray twice a day. Harvest the sprouts when mature, from 4 days for lentils, to 12 days for leeks. Rinse them before combining them in a delicious salad. Enjoy! |
